What this tool does

Set an alarm for today or tomorrow, choose a sound, and keep this tab open.

How to use

  1. Choose the hour and minute. Check whether the target is today or tomorrow.
  2. Preview the sound, then set your alarm.
  3. Keep the tab open. Stop or snooze when it rings.

A few things to know

One active alarm per tab, for today or tomorrow. Use Countdown for a dated target. A device zone change changes the displayed time, not an already armed instant.

The device clock is the source. An incorrect device clock affects results. Languages, zones and time format are independent.

On return, targets up to 60 seconds late ring once. Older targets are marked missed. Sound may need permission again.

Check tab mute, device volume and Bluetooth output. Notifications are not required.

Questions and answers

How do I set an alarm on my computer?

Choose the hour and minute, preview a sound and select Set alarm. Check the target date, then keep this browser tab open and your computer awake.

Will it ring with the tab closed?

No. Closing the tab or browser stops this online alarm. Keep the alarm page open until it rings.

Does it work while the computer sleeps?

Do not rely on the alarm while the computer is asleep. It does not automatically prevent sleep; on return, a target up to 60 seconds late rings once and an older target is marked missed.

Why can’t I hear the alarm?

The tab, device or output may be muted, or browser playback may be blocked. Preview the sound, check volume and Bluetooth output, and use the retry control if audio activation is requested.

How do I snooze the alarm?

Select Snooze when the alarm rings. It stops the current sound and starts a new countdown for the snooze duration chosen in Settings; the progress starts at 0%.

What does black screen mode do?

Black screen hides the interface while the alarm stays active. Click, tap or press Escape to return; the alarm automatically reveals its stop and snooze controls when it rings. It does not keep the device awake.

Which time zone does the clock use?

The live clock uses your device clock and its current time zone. Changing language does not change the zone; changing the device zone changes the displayed time but preserves an already set alarm’s target instant.
